Sign In & Account

I can't sign in.

Credi uses phone number sign-in via SMS code. Make sure your phone number is entered correctly with the country code, and that SMS is available on your device. If the code doesn't arrive within 60 seconds, tap "Resend" and check that you haven't blocked messages from unknown senders.

How do I delete my account?

Email us at crediresolution@gmail.com from the phone number used to sign in. We'll delete your account and all associated data within 30 days.

I got a new phone number. Can I transfer my account?

Contact us at crediresolution@gmail.com with your old and new phone numbers and we'll help transfer your cards and data.

Managing Cards

How do I add a card?

Tap the Wallet tab, then the + button in the top right. Select your card from the list or search by name. You'll be asked to confirm the reward rates for each category — Credi pre-fills known rates, but you can adjust them to match your card's current terms.

Does Credi store my card number or account details?

No. Credi never asks for your card number, CVV, expiration date, or any account credentials. We only store the card name and the reward rates you enter. There is nothing financial to steal.

How do I edit or remove a card?

In the Wallet tab, tap on any card to open its detail view. From there you can edit reward rates or delete the card entirely.

My card has rotating reward categories. How does that work?

Cards like Chase Freedom and Discover It rotate their 5% categories each quarter. Credi has a Rotating Rewards section where you can set the current quarter's category so recommendations stay accurate. Update it at the start of each quarter when your card issuer announces the new category.

Location & Recommendations

Location isn't being detected.

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Credi and make sure it's set to "While Using the App." Credi needs precise location to identify nearby merchants — "Approximate" location is not sufficient.

Also make sure you're not in an area with poor GPS signal, such as indoors in a large building.

The wrong merchant is showing up for my location.

Merchant detection is based on your GPS location and nearby business data. If you're in a shopping center with multiple stores close together, the detection may sometimes pick the wrong one. You can tap the refresh button to retry, or use the Search tab to look up the correct merchant manually.

Does Credi track my location in the background?

No. Credi only accesses your location while the app is open and visible on screen. We don't use background location tracking or geofencing. Your location is used solely to find nearby merchants and is never stored on our servers.
